Details: Senior/Lead SAP HR Payroll Consultant Whitehall Resources require a Senior/Lead SAP HR Payroll Consultant for one the World s Largest SAP Partners. We are looking for an experienced Senior/Lead SAP HR Payroll Consultant expert who is a Consultant and who is both technically hands-on and client-facing. Job description: You will be a part of a fast growing part of a dynamic, market leading SAP practise. You will be a Lead SAP Payroll consultant responsible for leading design and configuration streams within complex SAP solutions. You will need experience of working in large multi-stream projects containing challenging business process design and change management issues. Day to day activities includes: Lead Consultant for process design and gap analysis to standard SAP functionality within the business blueprint project phase, including influencing of key business stakeholders. Configuration lead in SAP including schema development, management of system testing, Legacy data mapping and integration to other modules and Legacy applications. Familiar with the specification of non-standard SAP enhancements and PY report design. Essential Skills/Requirements: Suitable candidates must have the following background At least 4 full life cycles of SAP PY implementation experience, 2 of which gained in a lead role. Experience of payroll implementations in local government Expertise on in PY and knowledge of how that module interacts with PA, OM and Time Good Knowledge of full Payroll processes, including UK statutory requirements. Able to converse confidently about HR and Payroll issues, and likely solutions provided by SAP. Specific knowledge of more than one industry sector and knowledge of the associated SAP industry solutions. Good balance of experience in design, configuration and testing Strong Consulting skills - demonstrable presentation and client facing skills are a must. All candidates must be assertive and articulate with the ability to develop and sustain customer relationships. Highly mobile; 100% mobility required. Other Skills (Technical/Personal): Suitable candidates should have awareness or experience of the following Knowledge of pre-sales and sales processes, including effective contributions to both bids and client presentations. Foreign language skills desirable Experience of non UK and International Payroll implementations. Experience of Payroll and Pay Element Rationalisation - eg moving weekly to monthly or timecard to salary based. This is an excellent opportunity please contact me to discuss in detail
