Details: Whitehall Resources are assisting a key client of ours in their search for an experienced Engagement Director responsible for leading planning and execution during the delivery of an SAP Programme including senior stakeholder management at CXO level. The role will require working with colleagues in sales, consulting and outsourcing, occasionally outside the UK, with SAP AG and other strategic partners. Core skills will include knowledge of the SAP components, Project and Programme planning, senior stakeholder management, financial management including full P&L responsibility for large programmes, knowledge of project delivery methodologies. The role will also include input to the sales process, leading sales propositions and following them through to delivery. SAP experience of Programme Management from business case and initiation through to implementation and support using formal methods and tools for both sales and delivery activities. Demonstrable experience of successful SAP delivery and successful sales in excess of £5m per annum. We are looking for candidates with the following key skills: - SAP knowledge in terms of overall processes, strategy, methods and management tools - Knowledge of the SAP processes - Minimum of 3 full SAP project life cycles of significant size, scope and complexity - SAP R3 knowledge and experience - Demonstrable SAP delivery for large programmes - Lead role in SAP opportunities exceeding £5m of sales p.a. - Strong communications skills and ability to communicate and influence up to and including CXO level - Leadership skills demonstrated through management roles covering planning, reporting, issue & risk management, senior stakeholder management and people management skills - Knowledge and experience of the sales process for consulting services - Commercially aware in terms of contractual aspects and value added propositions
