Details: Whitehall Resources requires an SAP PS/Supply Chain Senior Consultant for one of the big 4 consultancy on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be a SAP Project Systems (PS) Supply Chain Consultant capable of designing, building, testing and providing post-implementation support of Project driven Supply Chain solutions with a strong understanding of how these solutions affect customers Accounting/Controlling solutions. The candidate will have extensive knowledge of how PS integrates with SD, PM, CS, PP and MM solutions to deliver Supply Chain solutions for Manufacturing and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) sectors such as Utilities, Aerospace, Transport, Facilities Management and Oil and Gas. They will have demonstrable experience of completing at least three (with one in a team lead role) full lifecycle SAP Project Systems implementations. They will have a good understanding of integration third party partner planning products such as Primavera. Day to day activities include: - Analysis of legacy systems and business processes - Leading design and gap analysis workshops to identify the optimum SAP solution - Leading the configuration of the SAP solution, including coordinating remote development - Legacy system data migration to SAP - Identification and resolution of integration issues - Application and use of best practice Project Planning and Controls systems and processes - Working effectively with client and consultancy teams, including influencing key business stakeholders and other team members - Architecting and authoring Projects solution content in support of sales activities. The required core skills include detailed knowledge of the SAP PS module and how PS integrates with other ECC Supply Chain components and SRM for plan driven procurement scenarios. In addition, the candidate will know how these solutions can be deployed through SAP s Enterprise Portal and can integrate to third party products through tools such as PI. Required Skills: - Demonstrable SAP PS capability and lead implementation experience in a Projects Supply Chain context- specifically valuated and non-valuated Project Stock procurement scenarios (using tools such as PROMAN and EXPD)- and knowledge of how they affect Project Costing - Experience in the deployment of SAP PS solutions in one or more of the following sectors - Utilities, Aerospace, Travel and Transport, Oil and Gas and Facilities Management - Experience of integrating with third party products such as Primavera. - Minimum of three full SAP project life cycles with at least one in a Team Lead role - Strong communications skills and ability to influence at all levels including team members working remotely - Demonstrable contribution to SAP related business development activity, specifically writing and presenting proposals to prospective customers is desirable. - Knowledge of SAP s Business Suite 7 and ECC Enhancements Packages and relevant SAP certification is desirable.
