Details: Whitehall Resources are helping a key client of ours in their search for a SAP BW/BI Senior Consultant. Join a growing team of SAP professionals, working as a SAP BW consultant, delivering some of the most exiting and challenging SAP projects around. My Client has a reputation for delivering some of the most leading edge SAP Information programmes and is recognised by both industry analysts and SAP as being a thought leader and early adopter in both the SAP and Business Information Management domains. If you want to work with the latest SAP offerings, with some exciting clients, then look no further. You will need a demonstrable track record as a SAP BW consultant leading the BW delivery in medium to large SAP programmes and will be responsible for delivery of SAP BW design and configuration across complete lifecycles of complex SAP solutions. Experience of working in large multi-stream SAP projects containing challenging business process design, information strategy elements and change management is desirable, as is prior experience of distributed delivery using offshore models. Day to day activities includes: Working within a broader team, delivering solution design and gap analysis to standard SAP functionality within the blueprint project phase, including influencing of business stakeholders. During realization, the role includes taking a technical/functional configuration role, including all build activities, participation within system and integration testing, working with other work streams. Familiarity with the specification of requirements, non-standard SAP enhancements and integration with other SAP NetWeaver components is a must. Essential Skills / Requirements Suitable candidates must have the following background - - At least 6 full lifecycles of SAP BW implementation experience, 2 of which gained in a SAP BW lead role with at least 5 project reports (large programme experience would be preferential). - Strong knowledge of business processes within at least three SAP functional areas. - Specific knowledge of more than one industry sector and knowledge of the associated SAP industry solutions. - Good balance of experience in SAP BW Design, Architecture, Configuration, Modelling and Reporting areas. - Strong Consulting skills - demonstrable presentation and client facing skills are a must. All candidates must be assertive and articulate with the ability to develop and sustain customer relationships. - Involvement with at least one information strategy programme, awareness of Business Performance Management drivers for BI technology adoption essential. - Understanding of SAP s Business Objects product portfolio strategy; delivery of this a bonus. - Highly mobile; 100% mobility required. Other Skills (Technical / Personal) Suitable candidates should have awareness or experience of the following - - SAP BW BPS or IP design and delivery experience and awareness of BPC. - Pre-sales processes within a consulting environment. - Foreign language skills desirable.
