Details: Whitehall Resources are currently assisting our client in their search for a SAP IS-Media Consultant for a London based end user. The successful candidate will need to be experienced in the following: � SAP R/3 Sales & Distribution module. � SAP system configuration and system changes, with relation to incidents & bug fixes and RFCs. � SAP IS-Media Solution � Experience of working in a project team as well as individually on projects and tasks. � Knowledge and experience of design, testing & project management standards and methodologies. � Ability to analyse business requirements via various methods (documentation, current systems, workshops etc) and translate into a systems analysis and blueprint for a solution. � Knowledge and experience of using SAP and performing system configuration Expectations of the successful candidate: � Working within the SAP Team as an MSD Functional Analyst, you will be focussed on the MSD solution for the Academic and Commercial publishing business. � You will be responsible for 2nd level support for operational problems and issues logged by the user community and escalated by the 1st line support team. � You will be responsible for managing the Requests for Change (RFC) within your area. This will involve; meeting key stakeholders, documenting requirements, proposing solutions and obtaining agreement, preparation of functional specifications and technical documentation, testing, documentation of test results, roll out and post go live support. � Communication with other members of the UK & Global SAP team in order to share knowledge and to update the team of proposed & in progress system changes and developments � You will be responsible for aiding the creation of the project plans and following the objectives and milestones therein to ensure that targets for the solution development are met.
