Details: Whitehall Resources requires an SAP Technical Architect works in both a pre and post sales capacity. Responsible for the design and maintenance of comprehensive, cost effective and deliverable SAP Support solutions which meet the needs of our clients. Develops new services to extend or broaden our reach into the client's infrastructure and support services requirements. Remains aware of performance and support issues and essentially manages the client relationship. You will be responsible for providing post-sales support of applications for internal and external customers and be knowledgeable of the products being supported and is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert within their area of expertise. You will have knowledge of competitor's products and are up to date with releases from existing suppliers. We are looking for someone who Identifies internal and external / client product, documentation and process deficiencies and makes suggestions for improvement whist providing support and mentoring to resolve problems escalated from lower-levels of expertise within the organization. You will need to ensure high levels of client satisfaction for the products/solutions supported and someone who works to reduce repeat incidents by implementing changes to the systems or processes whilst applying best practices and promoting continuous process improvement. You will manage the design and implementation of processes and process improvements and liaises with 3rd parties on issue resolution as required. There may be out of hours Support � As required and where specified as an additional responsibility. Change / Project Development � May also work on billable engagements as required to meet current client requirements � Works with clients to define requirements for enhancement requests � Reviews applicable 3rd Party products and activities � Acts as Project Lead for larger application developments � Proactively managing the implementation of new services Business Development � Identifies new service opportunities and ensures that they are effectively progressed � Participate in the selling and promotion of additional services to the client � Identifies, documents and estimates (costs/revenue) opportunities for add-on services � Contribute to the definition of project scope and contract offer validation � Initiation of client delivery improvements � Delivery of presentations / demonstrations to client and client prospects � Act as focal point for new or expanded technical client support requests � Review client service statistics and maintain awareness of client activities � Ownership of transition between, pre-sales, implementation and service introduction. � Close cooperation with the account and project managers Key Skills Required: � Experience of Sun Solaris / UNIX Operating System, � Oracle Database with SAP ECC6 � SAP BI 7.0 � SAP SRM � SAP CRM � SAP Solution Manager � SAP XI/PI PLEASE NOTE: You will need to be Security Cleared for this particular position so you will need to of lived in the UK for the past 5 years.
