Principal Service Transition Manager Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Principal Service Transition Manager. Skills Set: - Thorough understanding of the principles of service-management and experience of fronting complex and diverse IS systems in a service-focussed organisation - Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills are essential and the job-holder will need to display a strong authoritative personal style in handling the inevitable issues and tensions that will arise - Experience of Service Design / Transition in previous roles to ensure smooth transition from Project to Operational teams - Good working knowledge of ITIL principles - A good understanding of the System Analysis and Solution Design functions would be beneficial - A good understanding of technology architectures and management systems required to provide and support service - Producing service design and operation documentation and ensuring Operational readiness Description of Role: - To build on Solution Design and ensures ISSS Non Functional requirements are captured throughout Project Lifecycle - The design of the services including all of the functional requirements, resources and capabilities needed - The design of the technology architectures and management systems required to provide and support the service - The design of the processes needed to design, transition, operate and improve the services the architectures and the processes themselves - The design of the measurement methods and metrics of the services, the architectures and their constituent components and the processes conform to best practice, - Ensure that Operational requirements are incorporated in the Service Design document to aid a smooth transition from project to Operational status. |
