SAP FI/CO Consultant specialising in SAP CO/PCA Controlling & Profit Centre Accounting is required for a UK based international Oil and Gas Company ideally located in Stockley Park near London and Heathrow. As SAP FI/CO CO/PCA Controlling & Profit Centre Accounting Consultant you will be accountable for the definition of Controlling and Profit-Centre Accounting processes in the clients global financial system templates. Key accountabilities for SAP FI/CO Controlling & Profit Centre Accounting CO/PCA Consultant: - Accountable for the scope and design of the end-to-end processes in SAP, based on financial system templates across a number of diverse businesses. The GFP Process Team Member for CO/PCA reports to the team leader of the process area and along with other team members will be responsible for: – Acting as process owner for global template deployments; extending the template to new users (“roll-in”), and adding enhancements for new processes, where required. – Championing the financial template – influencing and accommodating users through vision, communication skills, and thorough business, financial and SAP process knowledge – Delivering the design and specification of configuration, including prototyping when necessary, for new financial process and structure solutions to be included in the template, documentation of these, and assistance with their deployment to users. – Ensuring template solutions, including configuration, meet business requirements, maintain the functional integrity of the template and comply with legal requirements and industry best practice. – Managing change control including business-case validation and approval of template change requests. Essential Education for SAP FI/CO Controlling & Profit Centre Accounting CO/PCA Consultant: - An undergraduate degree and/or relevant financial or business professional qualification (e.g. mainstream UK or US accounting qualification, MBA etc.). Essential experience and job requirements for SAP FI/CO Controlling & Profit Centre Accounting CO/PCA Consultant: - Detailed knowledge and experience of Controlling and Profit-Center Accounting processes, functionality and configuration in SAP v4.7, ECC5 and ECC6. - Excellent general financial acumen, including a sound understanding of financial and accounting concepts, together with the ability to assimilate practical changes driven by legislative changes and business evolution. Knowledge and understanding of SAP deployment projects, obtained through practical participation in a minimum of three project lifecycles. (Oil and Gas experience an advantage). - The ability to explain issues and convey proposed solutions clearly and concisely to different audiences, including project team personnel and the full spectrum of financial system stakeholders in many countries. - Flexibility and adaptability; GFP Process team members are required to participate in a wide range of financial system-related activities, ranging from large-scale deployment projects to smaller, targeted initiatives for improvement of the already-installed systems.
