SAP EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) consultant required for a permanent position with a global consultancy practice.

The successful candidate will be a SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Consultant capable of designing, building, testing and providing post-implementation support of Utilities Asset and Workforce Management solutions. These solutions will be built on the Plant Maintenance/Customer Service (PM/CS), Project Systems (PS), Materials Management (MM) and Industry Solution – Utilities (IS-U) components of SAPs ECC Business Application. They will have demonstrable experience of completing at least three (with one in a team lead role) full lifecycle SAP EAM implementations in the complex linear asset environment found in the Utilities sector. They will have a good understanding of integration not just with other SAP components, such as Finance, but also third party partner products such as GIS, mobile asset management and workforce scheduling.
Day to day activities include:

- Leading EAM design and gap analysis workshops to identify the optimum SAP solution

- Application and use of best practice Asset Management systems and processes

- Identification and resolution of integration issues

- Analysis of legacy systems and business processes

- Leading the configuration of the SAP solution, including coordinating remote development

- Working effectively with client and consultancy teams, including influencing key business stakeholders and other team members

- Architecting and authoring Asset Management solution content in support of sales activities.

The required core skills include detailed knowledge of the SAP PM, CS, PS, MM and the Utilities Industry solution (IS-U). A good understanding of how these solutions can be deployed through SAPs Enterprise Portal and integrate to other SAP Business Applications such as SRM, CRM and third party products through tools such as PI is also required.


Personal Profile
We are looking for candidates with the following key skills and experience:
- Demonstrable SAP EAM capability and lead implementation experience in the Utilities sector.

- Experience of integrating with third party products such as ClickSoftware, Syclo, and ESRI GIS as well as other SAP components such as CRM, SRM, FI and HR.

- Minimum of three full SAP project life cycles with at least one in an EAM Team Lead role

- Strong communications skills and ability to influence at all levels including team members working remotely

- Demonstrable contribution to SAP related business development activity, specifically writing and presenting proposals to prospective customers is desirable.

- Additional experience in the Aerospace and Defence (A&D), Travel and Transport, Oil and Gas, Facilities Management, and Local Government sectors is desirable.
