Whitehall Resources are assisting a consultancy client to hire a Senior SAP Logistics consultant. Essential skills: Strong SD experience with LE MM functional skills Senior consultancy background working within multiple industry sectors To provide the appropriate specialist consulting support (and where applicable team leadership) to clients and colleagues in order to ensure the effective and timely implementation of SAP solutions and achieve customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Solution Specification Lead fact find and analysis of customers business processes, define and gain agreement on complex requirements, manage risk and provide options with specific recommendations for the appropriate SAP solution to meet the customer requirements; contribute to the pricing of the appropriate solution. Communicate at a technical and business level to gain agreement for solution. Business Development Support sales bid process by provision of man day estimates and documented proposals. Understand the clients requirements and assist in selling additional business. Assignment Management Support Project Management in the identification of appropriate skills and prepare the work plans for the assigned team members. Assist in the development of the project plan for the assigned functional area. Draft the initial plan (scope, deliverables, timelines and resources). Ensure that all work stream activities are completed on time and within budget. As Senior consultant you will oversee all project activities for the assigned functional area and lead the implementation of the requirements. Manage expectations of clients. Assignment Delivery Facilitate and run process design workshops. Design and demonstrate SAP solutions to support project findings and conclusions in a broad context. Deliver the solution preparation of Business Process Procedures (BPP), Perform Configuration, Test Scenarios, End-user documentation, and User manuals. Take action to mitigate risks and seek resolution for functional and technical issues throughout the project lifecycle. Provide high quality client specific project documentation. Provide commercially agreed knowledge transfer to the client. Operational Effectiveness & Compliance Comply with all operational processes and associated reporting requirements As agreed ensure compliance with business processes (especially business critical processes such as Sarbanes Oxley). You will be prepared to work away from home for up to four days per week, and work remotely or from the London offices when not on client site. The implementations are all in one, and each piece of work tends to last for around four months. As senior consultant you will be expected to work on more than one project concurently to ensure best practice on each client site. |
