Digital Transformation/Capability Delivery Lead – Contract to Perm.

Digital Transformation/Capability Delivery Lead required by Whitehall Resources for a 12 Month contract to be based in London.The role is a mix between a Digital Capability Lead and an Application Development Delivery Lead in a Group shared services organisation. This role will also double as an Application Development Delivery SME for methods, processes and tools supporting all of AD besides digital (Billing Systems, CRM, Custom Systems)

Experience Required:

– Experience leading large scale Application Development teams, with offshore delivery capability
– Setting up an application delivery capability and driving it through stages of maturity
– Experience managing large teams (100 +)
– Must have the offshore global team management experience
– Proven experience with near and offshore Delivery Centers in large and complex engagements
– Resource planning, budgets, management, reporting and coordination of projects/initiatives to deliver change in line with availability and business requirements
– International experience in leading Application Development organisations

Role Duties:

– Supporting the Digital organisation design, evolution and maturity while growing at scale and at speed
– Review definition of the capability strategy, vision and value proposition
– Setting up and implementing the road map of all key activities
– Identify and align strategy with new technology trends and promote innovation from within existing teams
– Review of development processes and service management adjusting to growth and driving maturity towards a CMMi and ITIL compliant operation Day-to-day Capability management
– Overall Capacity Management and Forecasting
– Performance Management based on SLAs, OLAs and key performance indicators on productivity (Agile, Waterfall), costs and efficiencies Drive service quality and cooperation across delivery centers
– Support the Set-up and Mobilisation of new capabilities, including sourcing models with partners and contractors predominantly from a methodology and tool perspective to adhere to the new standards
– Portfolio Delivery Management (AD / AM)
– Delivery Portfolio Review, proactively managing quality
– Risk Management and Mitigation
– Support Stakeholder Management building relevance and trust through quality of services provided
– Support Service Design and Solution Design when introducing new offerings
