Cloud Security Architect – SC Cleared

Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced Cloud Security Architect to work with a key client

**Please note this is IR35 Mandated and candidates will be required to work via an FCSA Accredited Umbrella**

Daily Responsibilities
* Reporting progress and issues in a timely and comprehensive manner and asking for support from teammates and vice versa when needed
* Producing designs and agree with Lead Architects and Tech Leads
* Stakeholder management

Essential Skills
* Extensive AWS & Cloud experience, ideally within secure Government environments
* Strong appreciation of AWS networking and associated security controls.
* Experience producing End to End High level and low level architecture designs with proven ability to work closely and effectively with DevOps and support / SRE teams.
* Experience taking designs through internal governance forums and socialising the designs with key stakeholders.
* Experience working in an Agile environment with tooling such as Jira and Confluence
* AWS Account and Security designs within a multi-tenant platform, including IAM, Managed AD, ID Centre and Landing Zones, and third party security related tools
* AWS Platform related services, such as AWS Security Services, SSM, etc.
* AWS AMI and EKS life cycle management and automation
