SAP Ariba Consultant

SAP Ariba Expert is required by Whitehall Resources for an initial 3 month contract

Key Skills:

* Initially report to Programme Manager during the delivery of the programme and thereafter transfer to Function Manager. As some work takes place in IT and Infrastructure, the Systems Administrator will also work closely with the client
* Act as the client Systems SME during delivery of the programme in all engagements withthe clients Suppliers including Ariba.
* Support the clients Supplier Enablement On-Boarding Lead where necessary to address any technical onboarding issues that may arise with Suppliers, including acting as the point of liaison between the client and Ariba
* Carry out and comply with the regular operational activities as set out in the clients Simple Buying Systems Admin Playbook
* Carry out tasks as directed by the Programme Manager or Workstream Leads to support successful programme delivery
* Manage changes arising from the process for movers, leavers and joiners
* Support in the identification of future technical roadmap in terms of planned changes, functional, business and support or administration impacts
* Review Ariba monthly updates and assess impacts on design and the improvements that might bring to the client
* Assist in maintaining the integrity of master data before Simple Buying is rolled out to the client., e.g. Vendor Master Data in SAP ECC
* Act as a point of liaison on behalf of programme regarding master data and transactional data loads to/from SAP ECC, Ariba and the Ariba Supplier Network
* Resolve system problems or defects where necessary
* Proactively monitor systems to ensure a stable Test and Production environment
* For any system issues that require support from Ariba Support, log and manage them
* Support Early Life Support Model during programme delivery
* Be an expert in the new processes & systems and in particular, own and manage updates to the the client Simple Buying Systems Admin Playbook and associated documents, processes, controls and reports
* Train other System Administrators so they can support the system moving forward
* Good understanding of Non-Functional Requirements (scalability, reliability, maintainability, usability)
* Working experience in projects with Agile methodology
* Experience in using the tools like JIRA, Confluence, Git
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
