Java FullStack Developer

Whitehall Resources are looking for an experienced Java FullStack Developer for an initial 3 month contract in Cheshire.

The successful candidate will be required to operate through an Umbrella Company.

The successful developer will be responsible for delivering day to day change for FullStack development including APIs, ensuring that all project requirements are met. In addition, as a senior developer they will be responsible for coordinating with the teams and the offshore team members and implementation of development process improvements and innovations.

Required Technical Skills
Core Java, J2EE, Springs MVC Framework, Inversion of Control, Aspect Oriented Programming, Spring REST API Support, Spring security, Spring Boot, Spring batch, Mulesoft, Anypoint Studio, Connectors (HTTP, JMS, Database, WSC), OOPS, Protocols (HTTP, IP, TCP, UDP, FTP), RAML, REST API Resource Modeling, API Versioning, Gradle, GitHub, DevOps tools (Jenkins, JIRA), Cucumber test scripts, SonarQube code analyzer, etc.

Technical Skills
– Work closely on REST based web services, API guidelines and versioning.
– Hands on experience on JSON, Java, J-script, J-unit, J-Meter, Agile Methodology, Quality Centre, JIRA.
– Ensure functionality is tested against requirements, validate that the solution is fit for purpose and supports the full end-to-end client business process.
– Interacting with SQL server database for verification and validation of all UI and Backend operations.
– Using the logs, database etc. to perform comprehensive analysis of any error to assist in working out the root cause of the issue prior to recording in a defect tracking tool.
– Participate in a culture of knowledge sharing within the project team.
– Good to have experience in API Management Tools like AKANA or APIGEE or Mulesoft Anypoint Platform; Pega, SOAP UI, SOATest.
– Good to have experience in Application clustering and load balancing techniques, Reporting, Testing for enterprise applications
