AWS Support Engineer

Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced AWS Support Engineer to work with a key client in Cheshire

**Please note client will only consider candidates via umbrella companies**

Familiar with AWS services & Understanding of Cloud concepts with practical hands-on experience on AWS:
* Deep understanding of networking – security groups, load balancers, transit gateway, TLS etc.
* Network capture and troubleshooting experience
* IAM and role management
* Monitoring and alerting support using CloudWatch and CloudTrail
* Understand security concept e.g. KMS, Secrets Manager etc.
* Proven experience of building and supporting AWS environments of using native features
* Strong experience on both windows and Linux operating systems
* Good knowledge on relational and non-relational databases
* Ability to work on assisting team with implementation, installation and maintenance of AWS hosted solution
* Build and maintain a strong knowledge base to facilitate the KT across the organisation
* EC2 and ECS knowledge
* Strong troubleshooting debug, evaluate and resolve customer impacting issues
* Provide technical guidance to team across the bank
* Good understanding of pipelines (e.g. Jenkins) used for Java application – ability to support build issues
* Cloud formation troubleshooting experience.
