Oracle Customer Care And Billing (CC&B) Consultant (Off Shore) required by Whitehall Resources for a 1 Year extendable project assignment for our client based in UAE.

Duration: 1 Year
Delivery: Off Shore/Remote – Full Time

Skills/Experience Required:

– Overall 5-6 years of experience in Oracle CC&B
– Good Experience in Oracle CC&B with Strong Production Support / Implementation experience.
– Experience in Technical support & implementation of Core CC&B and Batch schedule
– Good functional knowledge of Oracle CC&B.
– Experience in Resolving user queries and Incidents in the Application and Support the Minor release roll outs.
– Experience working with external interfaces to 3rd party benefits and integrations
– Initiates corrective and Root Cause Analysis action to fix the issues permanently and improve the availability of the application
– Experience in HP QC/Defect tracking system
– B. S. Degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.

Job Description:

– A designer with 6-8 yrs hands-on technical experience in Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B)
– Very good understanding of product architecture, data model and Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF). Good knowledge of OUAF (Oracle Utilities Application Framework).
– Very good understanding of regulated and deregulated electricity markets, its business processes and regulations. Functional experience in Oracle utilities CC&B and sound knowledge on oracle Utilities products.
– Extensive knowledge of CC&B modules like Billing, Rates, Customer information, Field orders, Metering, Credit and Collections


– Configuring the system as per the documentation of CC&B
– Creation of all the Admin data as per requirement of NDMC based on the type of consumers, tariff structure, SA Type, collection procedure.
– Generation of V-Structure which includes Person, Account, Premise, SP (with meters attached), SA.
– Generation of bills based on single meter and multi-meter cases.
– Rate Schedules configuration based on consumer categories that is achieved with the help of Rate Components, SQI and Register rules.
– Design the system solution to meet the client requirement.
– Involve in full cycle of project implementation activities; such as such as business requirement gathering, solution design development, configuration & customizing, system documentation, testing & cut over.
– Involve in post-implementation production support, to ensure the all the problem solving is met according to the Service Level Agreement target.
– Responsible for translating user-defined specifications into a working solution
